Body Cams Less Than Ideal in a Confrontation
St. Louis Police Kill Armed Man, Release Bodycam Video
From the article:
St. Louis County police released body camera video after officers shot and killed a 23-year-old man who authorities say charged toward officers holding a knife and a bible.
It is unfortunate that this took place.
The video is a whole lot less ideal than I thought it would be. Maybe a hat cam? And better quality camera?
By impact weapon…the police may have used bean bag rounds or, rubber bullets.

I added this video because most people don’t realize how dangerous a weapon a knife can be.
The quality of the video isn’t that great but it gets the point across. No pun intended.
Knife Attack, “Safe” Distance – At Least 21 Feet
There is something I might add to this…and that is the shot you get off may not strike the individual. What then? And…people do not always fall down like in the movies.
In fact, if a person is on powerful drugs it may not stop them at all.
