Danny Gokey – You Tube
I’d been listening to the song Give Me Jesus by Danny Gokey when next in line on auto-play was this song. Even as Christian’s and maybe even more so because of that, we go through some tough times.
My mother passed away in 2018 after suffering with Alzheimer’s for four years and in that same year I was involved in a bad car accident. I know that the Lord is with me whatever happens in this life. I hope you believe that too. I thought I would post this song. It’s encouraging.
Luke 4:18-20 King James Version (KJV)
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to “heal the brokenhearted”, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
What A Beautiful Name
The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Today I’m dedicating this song to my friends, Mary and Eian. I met them at a Personal Ministries Seminar. After a mix-up, she so graciously allowed me to room with them. I was so thankful. And when I got back to the room they had even made my bed. That was so kind. From what I remember…. I believe it was her son’s idea.
Eian, her son is a real sweetheart. I told him he could call me Grandma Sue. After all, I am old enough to be his grandma. It stuck. He drew me a picture which is still on my refrigerator. He also had asked his mother if he could give me a hug goodbye. I was so touched. They’ve moved since I met them.
Recently, Eian wanted to know if he could call me. Of course! I was so glad to hear from them. Mary had a lot to tell me about how their lives have changed and how good God has been to them. Mary also told me that she likes this song and I must say that I’ve grown to like it too.
