I was reading a comment to an article on economic collapse. (The link is at the bottom , if you care to read the article?)
Someone had brought up that the Bible says that we will not know the hour or the day of Jesus coming, which is true. But the Bible does give us the signs that it is near. May we all heed the warning.
1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV)
4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that…..in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Corinthians 11:14-15 (KJV)
14 And…..no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his (Satan’s) ministers also be transformed as (into) the “ministers of righteousness”; whose end shall be according to their works.
2 Timothy 3:1-4 (KJV)
3 This know also,…..that in the last days…….perilous times shall come.
2 For men…..shall be…..lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without…..natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (lacking self-control), fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady (defiant, reckless), highminded (pretentious), lovers of pleasures…..more than lovers of God;
Luke 17:26-27 (KJV)
26 And…..as it was in the days of Noe (Noah), so shall it be also…..in the days of the Son of man (Jesus).
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
