 CBS, NBC Ignore Conflicting Court Rulings On Future On Obama Care Subsidies

In a 2-1 ruling, the D.C. Court of Appeals ruled that the IRS went too far by providing subsidies to individuals on the federal exchange but a separate ruling by the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld those same subsidies. Despite the contradictory rulings and the likelihood that the Supreme Court will take up the case, ABC was the only network evening news show to cover the story on Tuesday night. [See video below.]

Rather than cover the ObamaCare rulings , both NBC Nightly News and the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley found time to gush over Prince George’s first birthday. Anchor Scott Pelley hyped how “great-grandma, the queen, sent money. Or at least she had some made. The Royal Mint produced two limited edition coins to mark George’s birthday.”

Not this time. By declaring the mandate as a tax, he set this one up to shred the full law. Without subsidies, there is no employer mandate/tax. That’s what this lawsuit is about. Read the Oklahoma lawsuit. It’s very revealing. This is actually a case of taxation without representation.
