Report: Pentagon Reprimands Army General after 3-Year Investigation

From the article:

Following a lengthy investigation by the U.S. Department of Defense, a key Army commander who was responsible for training Iraqis to fight the Islamic State was reprimanded earlier this year by the Pentagon for misconduct and will result in his retirement, the Washington Post reported Sunday.

According to Defense documents obtained by the Post through the Freedom of Information Act…

Is it just me, or do you also wonder…how is all this information getting leaked…so, that someone is requesting information? I wouldn’t think that this was “general” (pun not intended) knowledge.

And…this investigation took 3 years.

Comments:

Just a couple. As is usual…the rest are interesting.

“According to Defense documents obtained by the Post through the Freedom of Information Act, Maj. Gen. Dana J.H. Pittard was the subject of a three-year probe that concluded he engaged in misconduct by steering a defense contract to a firm operated by two former West Point classmates.”_______________________________What the General did was wrong, but that’s peanuts compared to what stuper Dick Cheney did for Halliburton. One thing I can say, the General did secure himself a job when he retire.
