Justifying Their Job?
New York City Limits Juice in Day Cares
From the article:
Health officials in New York City are cutting the amount of juice that can be served in day care centers and raising the age of children who can drink it.
I can’t believe the state of New York is worried about eight month old babies getting obese. Really? Is that the age where it starts? I doubt that.
Children get fat because of juice? And they call themselves “health” official’s? I have another name for them. But I’m not going to say it, lol.
If the health official’s knew anything about children they would know that most children can be a little heavier before they start walking.
I really wonder if there are that many children that are really obese? Doubt that too. I don’t remember seeing what I would consider obese children. In fact, there isn’t a single one that I remember seeing recently. Not one.
Maybe New York Health Officials should start with their own BMI and get that in line first. It should be a requirement of the job. And if they are underweight? They should have to see a therapist.
