Anger after Toddlers Made to Wear Yellow Stars to Mark Holocaust

From the article:

An Israeli nursery school teacher has been suspended after making toddlers as young as three wear yellow Star of David patches to commemorate the Holocaust.

Parents voiced outrage after seeing their children leaving the kindergarten in Rishon Letzion on Holocaust remembrance day wearing patches emblazoned with the word Jude (Jew), similar to those that the Nazis forced Jews to wear during the Second World War.

The qualifications for teacher’s must be pretty lax in Israel. Then again, at times they “can be” pretty lax in the U.S. too.
I thought I might add that there are some great teachers on the job. I’d like to think the bad ones are the exception rather than the rule.
