U.S. deadly pig virus cases on the rise

The Canadian Swine Health Board has confirmed that four provinces also have cases of the virus. The provinces are Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec.

Also, from the article:

The virus does not affect humans and is not a food safety risk.

You sure about that? Still wouldn’t want to eat a sick animal. Or, potentially sick animal. There’s a Swine Health Board? I wonder how many people have eaten pigs that had the virus but the symptoms weren’t apparent yet?  Ew.  Thankfully, I don’t eat pork.
