The Debt of Love We Owe

 At the Cross

1 Timothy 2

 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

The last verse:

But drops of grief can ne’er repay
The debt of love I owe:
Here, Lord, I give myself away,
’Tis all that I can do.

I was thinking one day as I was driving down the street…about this sinful world and I thought…Lord, we (me?) aren’t worth it (what you have went through to save us.) This…of course, was not the first time this thought had come to mind.

Though then…I reminded myself that…Jesus thought so. Amazing grace…  Praise God!

Hebrews 12:2

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the JOY that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
