Pope Denounces “Throwaway” Culture of Consumer Society
From the article:
Pope Francis denounced the “throwaway” culture of today’s society that discards anyone who is unproductive as he celebrated his first public Mass in Bolivia on Thursday, one of the key days of his South American pilgrimage. It was to culminate with a summit of farmers, fishermen and indigenous whose causes have long been championed by history’s first Latin American pope.

The day, however, threatened to be overshadowed by President Evo Morales’ controversial gift to Francis upon his arrival: a crucifix carved into a hammer and sickle.
When I read this line I laughed… Given to Pope “Wealth Re-distribution” himself, lol. You know…the one who said he’s known some very good Marxist’s.
What’s that saying…”Birds of a feather flock together”?
And the hammer and sickle crucifix is about “open dialog”? Like …white is black, black is white…and elephant’s can fly…
Should anyone think that the Bible condones wealth re-distribution…in effect “stealing”…taking from the rich and giving to the poor…that’s a false notion.
Giving from your heart from the things God has blessed you with, without compulsion is truly “Christ-like”. Do not be deceived.
