Wow, That’s Some Boast

Sirius Founder Envisions World of Cyber Clones, Tech Med

From the article:

In a not-too-far-future, robotic mind-clones will accompany us to the ballot box or grocery store, sit in on business meetings we can’t make, argue with us occasionally and keep our essence alive long after we’re gone.

Somehow, I’ve never envisioned myself needing an overseer. Something to help me remember my grocery list, or doctor’s appointments, maybe?

Argue with me?  I already do that in my own head. The shoulda, coulda’s, and woulda’s.

Keep my essence alive long after I’m gone? Isn’t that what other people’s memories are for?

Rothblatt is the founder of Sirius Satellite Radio, current chief executive of United Therapeutics and was recently named by Forbes as the highest-paid female CEO in America. She is a transgender activist and a trans-humanist philosopher who believes technology will one day grant humans eternal life.

Hmm, I wonder….maybe she? isn’t aware that Jesus came to this earth so that we may have eternal life. It’s already been promised if we believe in Jesus, God’s son.

John 3:16 KJV

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God already has the “cyber” technology thing down. Though it’s a whole different kind of creative power. He speaks… and it is so.

Genesis 1:11 KJV

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and “it was so”.

.12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

“Cyber technology” seems rather puny after that…doesn’t it?
